How to choose which services an employee can perform

Assign specific services to your employee to ensure appointments can be booked accurately.

This feature is available in the Pro plan.

By default, any new employees added will be eligible to perform all services. Any new services added will also be able to be performed by all employees by default.

Choose which services an employee can perform

  • From the menu navigate to “Employees”, then select "Employees”.
  • Select the Employee you want to assign services to.
  • Find the area titled “Assigned services”, then select “Select services”.

  • Select all services the employee can perform.
  • Select “Apply” in the “Select services” menu.
  • Remember to also select “Done” on the Employee menu to save your changes.
Any changes made here will also be reflected in the Service setup screen, against the  relevant service.
 

Update a Service

You can also update which Employees can perform a service via the Service Setup menu.
  • From the menu navigate to "Services".
  • Select the service category with the service you want to update.
  • Select the service.
  • In the Service Setup menu, find the area titled “Employees assigned”, then choose “Select employees”.

  • Select the employees that can perform this service. Note, at least one employee must be assigned to all active services.
  • Select “Apply” in the “Select team members” menu.
  • Remember to also select “Done” on the Employee menu to save your changes.
Any changes made here will also be reflected in the Employee screen against the relevant Employee.
 

What happens if I change my Aire subscription plan?

  • If you’re downgrading from a Trial or paid Pro plan to the Free or Grow plan:
    • The Free and Grow plan is restricted to one team member only (that’s you). You will be marked capable of all services on these plans.
  • If you’re upgrading from the Free or Grow plan to the Pro subscription plan:
    • If you previously had any Employee Service Eligibility settings configured: Shortcuts Aire will remember your previous settings and automatically set these back up.
    • If you previously DID NOT have any Employee Service Eligibility settings configured: All employees will be set as capable of performing all services by default. Jump into the Employees screen to update your preferences.
