Copy roster for one or more employees for a specific date range

  • Select the “Roster actions” button on the bottom right of the screen.
  • Select “Copy roster” to replicate shifts across different date ranges and for different employees.
  • Select the employee/s whose roster you wish to copy.
  • Select the “Copy start date”: The first date of the existing roster you’re copying.
  • Select the “Copy end date”: The last date of the existing roster you’re copying.
  • Select the “Copy until date”: The date you want the roster to be copied up to.
    • e.g. Copy existing roster from 1 - 7 Jan until 30 Jan. This will mean the roster will be populated from 8 - 30 Jan for the specific employees.
    • Tip: You can use this technique to copy a roster for a long period of time (e.g. months or even years).
    • Note: The copied roster will begin the first day after the ‘copy end date.’ It will not skip over closed days etc. We recommend selecting a full roster/cycle to copy e.g. 7 days Mon - Sun, incl. closed days to ensure days remain aligned (e.g. previous Tuesday copies to next Tuesday).
  • Scroll down to view the copied roster entries to confirm they are accurate.
