View customer history, transactions & add visit notes
Learn how to access historical customer data and add notes to a customer’s appointment.
The Customer History and Logs are a great way to keep notes on your customers, such as colour history and specific visit notes. You can also revisit details of past appointments.
There are different customers details that you can view via either the Customer’s History or Log.

Access History and Logs by searching for a customer
- From the Menu select Customers.
- Type in the customer’s name in the search bar on top left-hand side.
- Select the customer from the search results.
- Select “History” at the bottom of the screen to see Visit Notes and Transactions.
- Select “Log” at the bottom of the screen to see a history of Services, including any changes or updates made to them within the Appointment Book. See the "Customer Log details" section for more details.
Access History and Logs from an appointment in Appointment Book
- Click on the customer’s appointment in the Appointment Book.
- When the Details menu displays, select the three dots to open the sub-menu.
- Select “Customer history” to see Visit Notes and Transactions.
- Select “Appointment logs” to see a history of Services.
View and Edit Visit Notes
ℹ️ This feature is available in the Pro and Grow plan.
- Access this screen via the History screen.
- Here, you can see all the dates the customer has visited your business.
- To view visit or formula notes on a particular date, click on that date.
- If you want to add or amend a note, click on the pencil icon.
- Add or edit the note in the provided field, then click the tick box to save.
View Transactions
- A customer’s transactions show an itemised break down of what they have paid for, and which employee provided the Service and/or made the sale. You can also re-print receipts and process refunds from this screen.
- View a specific customer’s transactions from the Customer History screen
- From the Customer history screen select “Transaction”
- Click on the date of the transaction.
- View all transactions over a specific time period:
- From the Menu select Transactions
- Select a time period
Customer Log details
- A customer’s log shows a record of all past and future appointments with their status (e.g. if they were cancelled)
- Choose a year.
- Click on the appointment to see further details including the Service, Sub-service, employee who provided each Service and more.
- Select “View appointment” to see the specific appointment in your Appointment Book.
