A guide on what computer hardware is supported with Shortcuts.
Shortcuts System Requirements
Before installing or upgrading Shortcuts, please ensure your computer meets the following requirements. If you're unsure, contact your Shortcuts representative for assistance.
Processor Requirements
- Supported processors:
- Only x64 processors are supported (e.g., AMD Opteron, AMD Athlon 64, Intel Xeon with EM64T, Intel Pentium IV with EM64T).
- Intel i5 (10th Gen or newer) is required for:
- Standalone servers
- Servers with up to 4 connected clients
- Single additional client terminals
Apple M1, M2, and M3 or any other ARM processors are NOT supported.
Server Requirements
(For running Shortcuts with additional connected terminals or remote access)

Mac Compatibility

Boot Camp (Recommended):
- Allows Windows to run natively on a Mac.
- Requires a purchased Windows 10/11 Pro license.
- Provides full computing power to Windows

Internet & Network Requirements
- Shortcuts supports both wireless and wired (LAN) connections.
- For integrated payment or credit card systems, a wired connection is recommended for stability.
- A high-speed internet connection is required for the best experience.
Performance Recommendations
- SSD drives are recommended over traditional hard drives for improved speed and reliability.
- We strongly recommend investing in reputable, configurable antivirus software for security.
