Set up visit progress modes in the Walk-in Manager
This guide explains how to select and utilize visit progress modes in the Walk-In Manager to optimize service flow for your business.
Accessing Walk-In Manager Settings
- Navigate to the Setup Menu.
- Select Configuration.
- Under General from the left navigation panel., choose Walkin.
Configuring Employee Selection Mode
- Multiple Employees Allowed per Visit:
- Enable this option if more than one employee can be assigned to a single visit.
- Activating this option unlocks visit progress modes for further customization.
Visit Progress Modes Overview
Visit progress modes determine the level of manual intervention required to update visit stages during service. Regardless of the selected mode, all visits must be marked as Finished or Checked Out once completed.
Available Progress Modes:

Manually Finish All:
- Progression to the next block requires a manual update.
- Best for businesses preferring full control over service stages.

Manually Finish for Employee Changes and Breaks:
- Manual updates are required for service breaks and employee changes.
- Automatic progression occurs if there’s only one employee and no breaks.

Manually Finish for Employee Changes:
- Manual updates are required for employee changes.
- Automatic progression through breaks.

Automatic Finish:
- Progression happens automatically based on preset service and break times.
- Ideal for reducing manual effort.
Applying Changes
- After selecting your preferred mode, click Done.
- Restart Shortcuts to implement the changes.
Managing Visits in Walk-In Manager
- Current Block:
- Displayed in green when in progress.
- Turns yellow if the visit exceeds the estimated time frame.
- Manually Progressing:
- Right-click the current block and select Start Next Block.
- Example: Start the finishing block.
- Completing Visits:
- Right-click and select Finish, or proceed directly to Checkout.
