Set Employee Breaks for the Walk-in Manager
The Walk-In Manager tool includes a break feature to help track employee availability, manage wait times, and streamline client service.
Using the Break Feature
Setting a Break

Access the Employee List:
On the top of the screen, you will see a list of employees. Employees actively clocked on will have a green marker next to their names. -
Select an Employee:
If an employee wants to go on a break, they simply need to:- Click on their name.
- Choose one of the options on the pull-down menu at the bottom of the screen:
- Away for a Specified Time: Set a break duration (e.g., 10, 15, 30 minutes). The system will automatically mark the employee as available once the time expires.
- Away for an Unspecified Time: Mark themselves away without a predefined return time.

Visual Indicators:
- Employees on break will have an orange marker next to their names.
- Active employees remain marked with green indicators.
Returning from a Break

Automatic Return:
- For breaks with a specified time, the system automatically updates the employee’s status to available once the set duration ends.

Manual Return:
- Employees can end their break early by:
- Clicking on their name.
- Selecting Return to resume servicing clients.

Tracking Attendance
To monitor employee clock-in and clock-out activity:
- Navigate to the Tools section via the right-hand panel.
- Select Attendance.
- This provides a clear log of each employee's activity, including their break times.
