Service Configuration Structure
- Three-Tier Structure: Services are organised into Service Categories, Services, and Service Blocks.
- Service Categories: Group similar services for easy selection.
- Service Blocks: Individual sections of a service, each with specific attributes (name, time, break, price, etc.).
Service Block Types
- Single Block Service: A single, uninterrupted service.
- Multiple Block Service: Services broken into up to six blocks, allowing flexibility for different employees or breaks.
Configuration Scope
- Regional Consistency: Configure services at the highest applicable level (e.g., country or state) to ensure uniformity across sites.
Pre-Configuration Requirements
Ensure the following are in place:
- Defined Employee Levels
- Configured Taxes
- Established Service Report Categories
- Created Service Categories
Service Report Categories
- Purpose: Group service blocks into ten predefined categories for reporting.
- Customisation: Rename default categories (Cat1 to Cat10) to align with your business needs.
- Global Configuration: Categories apply uniformly across all locations.
Steps to Configure Report Categories:
- Access the Config Management Menu.
- Navigate to Service Report Categories.
- Rename categories and save changes.
Adding a Service Category
- Go to the Config Management Menu.
- Select Services.
- Right-click the desired region and select New Category.
- Enter the category name, optional description, and tick the "Active" box.
- Save and close.
Deactivating a Service Category
- Open the Config Management Menu.
- Navigate to Services.
- Right-click the category to deactivate and untick "Active."
- Confirm the action to deactivate all associated services.
- Save changes.
