Regions and Sites Overview
The Shortcuts Enterprise Manager is designed to streamline management across multiple business locations.
Setting Up Regions and Sites
Hierarchy Structure
The regional setup tree is a flexible system that allows businesses to organize locations effectively:
- Regions: Typically align with geographical areas or franchise groups.
- Sub-Regions: Further segmentation within a region.
- Sites: Represent individual business locations and can have unique configurations.
Icons for Identification:
- Globe icon: Represents regions and sub-regions.
- Building icon: Represents individual sites.
Example Configurations:
- Geographical: Global > United States > California > Huntington Beach > Beach Boulevard.
- Franchise: Global > Australia > Franchise Owner > Shopping Center > Site.
Best Practices:
- Create each site in a unique sub-region to enable customised settings when necessary (e.g., pricing or promotions).
- Leverage global settings for uniformity across all sites in a region.
