Shortcuts Marketing Plus: Create Demographic scenarios

Demographic scenarios are a powerful tool that allow you to target marketing campaigns to specific groups of clients based on their demographic details. Once set up, these scenarios can be saved and reused in future campaigns, streamlining your marketing efforts.



Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access Demographic Scenarios

  • Log in to your Shortcuts Marketing plus account.
  • Navigate to Admin and click on Demographic Scenarios.
  • Any existing scenarios will be displayed here for review or editing.

2. Create a New Scenario

  • Click Create New to begin setting up a scenario.
  • Enter a descriptive name to identify the targeted group (e.g., "Female Clients").
  • Click Add Scenario to start defining the demographic criteria.

3. Define Demographics

  • Select Criteria:
    • Choose the type of demographics (e.g., "Core Demographics").
    • Specify details such as gender, age, or other attributes. For example:
      • To target female clients, select Personal Details > Gender > Female.
  • Refine Your Audience:
    • Use the + (AND) option to narrow the audience to those meeting all selected criteria.
    • Alternatively, use the OR option to include alternative groups.

4. Save and Review

  • Once all criteria are set, click Save.
  • The new scenario will appear in your list of saved scenarios for future use.

5. Apply a Scenario to a Campaign

  • In your campaign setup, go to the Demographics tab and click Add Scenario.
  • Select Saved Scenarios and choose the one you created.
  • A green box will display a preview of the selected scenario.
  • Click Check Recipients to see how many clients the campaign will target.
    • View specific recipient details by clicking on the displayed number.

  • Name Your Scenarios Clearly: Ensure scenario names are descriptive for easy identification.
  • Preview Results: Always check recipient details before finalizing your campaign.
  • Save Frequently Used Scenarios: Streamline your workflow by reusing scenarios.
