Key Features of the Stock Level Screen

The stock level screen enables users to manage inventory by adjusting warning levels, minimum reorder quantities, and maximum stock levels for products. Key features include:

  • Search Functionality: Filter products by region, site, manufacturer, and line. Options to display inactive products or manufacturers are also available.
  • Custom Display Settings: Adjust how many products appear in search results.
  • Reset Option: Clear existing search criteria with a single click.

Steps to Adjust Stock Levels

  1. Navigate to the stock menu and select the stock level option.

  2. Search for Products by using search criteria (e.g., region, manufacturer, or line) and click Search.

  3. Set Stock Parameters:

    • Maximum Level: Desired stock level after replenishment. Overrides automatic calculations if entered manually.
    • Minimum Level: The threshold below which products are automatically added to the reorder list.
    • Warning Level: Alerts you to restock when a product reaches this level.
    • Minimum Order Quantity: Specifies the smallest quantity allowed in an order.
    • Days to Cover: Indicates the number of days' sales the stock should cover.
  4. Enable automatic stock calculations by checking the Recalc Maximum box.
  5. Save Changes once you have entered the required details to confirm stock changes.
