What Are Contraindications?
Contraindications are factors that may increase risks associated with a product or service. Examples include:
- Allergies
- Pregnancy
- Incomplete skin patch tests
These safeguards ensure clients meet required conditions before proceeding.
Key Features of Contraindications
- Prompts for specific checks before booking or purchasing.
- Customizable responses for different scenarios (e.g., pass, fail, pending).
- Validity periods and reminders to keep information up-to-date.
Step-by-Step Configuration
Adding a Contraindication
- Navigate to the configuration management menu.
- Expand "Contraindications."
- Right-click the desired region and select "New Contraindication."
- Enter:
- A name and optional description.
- The question to be answered (e.g., "Are you pregnant?").
- Responses for pass, fail, and pending scenarios.
- Validity period (optional).
Assigning Products or Services
- From the contraindications menu, select the relevant contraindication.
- Map products or services that the contraindication applies to.
- Save your changes.
Specifying Failure Actions
- For each product/service, assign a failure action:
- Allow: Proceed despite contraindication.
- Warn: Display a warning message.
