Mailchimp Integration
The integration between Shortcuts and MailChimp provides a seamless way to manage and target your client communications effectively.
Automatic Client Sync
- In the Shortcuts Cloud go to Menu > Business Settings > Connection Settings to configure your site
- Once connected, your Shortcuts client list syncs automatically with MailChimp as a list of contacts.
- To view your contacts:
- Navigate to Audience in MailChimp.
- Select View Contacts to see clients uploaded from Shortcuts.
Targeted Campaigns with Segments
- Segments allow you to target your audience based on specific criteria, such as:
- Gender.
- Future appointments.
- To view or create segments:
- Go to Manage Contacts.
- Select Segments.
- These segments are available when setting up campaigns, enabling personalized and effective communication.
Tags for Multi-Location Businesses
- If your business operates across multiple locations:
- Tags are created for each site, allowing you to target clients based on the last location they visited.
- Each client’s record is unique and associated with the location where their details were last updated.
- To view tags:
- Go to Manage Contacts.
- Select Tags.
Audience Fields and Merge Tags
- Found in Settings, these features enhance personalization:
- Audience fields (e.g., last visit date) can trigger automated campaigns.
- Merge tags (e.g., first name, last name) allow personalized content in emails.
- These fields sync directly from Shortcuts, simplifying your campaign setup.
Pre-Built Campaign Templates
- Shortcuts provides a range of one-off campaign templates for occasions like:
- Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Valentine’s Day.
- To access templates, find them in the Templates section of MailChimp.
- Additional imagery for campaigns is available in the Content section.
