How to Set Up, Deactivate, and Reactivate a Series

Creating a series package for your services is a straightforward way to offer bundled options to clients, such as multi-packs with discounts. This guide walks you through setting up a new series, inactivating it, and reactivating it when needed.

Setting Up a Series

To set up a service series, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Setup Menu:

    • Navigate to the right-hand side and select Setup and click on Series..
    • Click on Services and locate the category containing the service you want to include in a series.
  2. Select and Create the Series:

    • Choose the desired service (e.g., “Full Body Spray Tan”).
    • Click Series at the bottom of the screen.
    • If you already have existing series options, they will appear here (e.g., a 10-pack of Spray Tans).
  3. Input Series Details:

    • Quantity: Enter the number of services in the series (e.g., 5).
    • Pricing Options:
      • Enter the item price (price per service in the series).
      • Set the total package price or adjust for a discount (e.g., 20% off).
    • Expiry Date: Add an expiration period for the series (e.g., 12 months).
  4. Finalize and Save:

    • Once all details are entered, press Done to save.
    • Press Done again to complete the process.

Inactivating a Series

To make a series inactive:

  1. Go to Setup and select Series.
  2. Locate the category linked to the series.
  3. Click on the plus sign next to the category to view active series.
  4. Untick the Active column for the series you want to inactivate.
  5. Press Done to save the changes.

Reactivating a Series

To reactivate an inactive series:

  1. In Setup, go to Series.
  2. On the bottom-left side, select Show Inactive to view inactive series.
  3. Find the desired series, tick the box to reactivate it, and press Done.
  4. The series will now appear as active in the list.
