Shortcuts Marketing Plus: How to Send a Campaign to a Nominated Member List

Sending targeted campaigns to a specific group of clients can improve engagement.

Step 1: Prepare Your Template

  • Template Creation:

    • Start by logging into Shortcuts Marketing Plus.
    • If you haven’t already created a template, browse the Template Library or use the Email Creator. Note that templates created through the Email Creator won’t be saved to your library.
    • Select and edit your desired template. Changes made here will only apply to the current campaign and not to the original template.
  • Personalize and Finalize:

    • Add a subject heading that grabs attention (e.g., include the recipient's name).
    • Enable tracking options like:
      • Performance Tracking: Monitor link engagement.
      • Online Viewing Option: Allow clients to view the email in their browser.
      • Refer-a-Friend Link: Optional feature to let recipients share the email.

Step 2: Set Up Your Campaign

  1. Name Your Campaign:

    • Choose a clear, descriptive name for internal use.
  2. Schedule the Send Date and Time:

    • Select a date and time for your campaign to be sent.
  3. Sender Details:

    • Confirm and edit "sent from" and "reply-to" email addresses as needed.
  4. Audience Selection:

    • Choose the Nominated Member List option.
    • Search and select recipients based on criteria like surname or other filters.

Step 3: Add a Promotion Code (Optional)

  • Track ROI:

    • Create or select a promotion code for your campaign.
    • To create a new code:
      • Navigate to the Admin Menu > Promotion Codes.
      • Enter details and save.
    • Link the promotion code to your campaign by returning to the Promotion Tab.
  • Discount Setup:

    • In Shortcuts Fusion, link the promotion code to a discount reason.
    • Configure the discount (amount, applicable services/products) to measure ROI effectively.

Step 4: Test and Activate

  1. Send a Test Email:

    • Proofread the email content.
    • Check the subject line, spelling, and all links to ensure functionality.
  2. Confirm Details:

    • Verify recipient numbers by clicking Check Now.
    • Confirm all test checks by ticking the provided boxes.
  3. Activate the Campaign:

    • Once satisfied, click Activate. Your campaign will be sent at the scheduled time.
