How to Redeem an Online Gift Card

This guide outlines the necessary steps to redeem a gift card for your clients efficiently.

1. Identify the Gift Card

The client will either show you the gift card on their mobile device or provide a physical barcode.

  • Scanning the Barcode:
    Use a barcode scanner if available.
  • Manual Entry:
    If a scanner isn’t available, manually type the barcode number into the system.

2. Process the Transaction

Follow these steps at the point of sale:

  1. Select the Client's Transaction:
    Navigate to the client's transaction in the POS system.
  2. Click on the Gift/Loyalty" Button:
    Locate and select the "Loyalty/Gift Card" option.
  3. Enter or Scan the Barcode:
    Either scan the barcode or type the number manually.
  4. Press "Done":
    This will load the gift card details into the transaction.

After loading, verify the balance:
