How to Process and Redeem a Series at the Point of Sale

Series packages offer clients the convenience of prepaying for a bundle of services, which they can redeem during future visits. This guide explains how to sell, process, and redeem a series.

Selling a Series to a Client

  1. Initiate Checkout:

    • Right-click on the client’s name and select Checkout.

  2. Add Series to the Sale:

    • Click on an empty sale line.

    • Select the employee who sold the series.

    • Choose Service from the menu.

  3. Select the Series Package:

    • Either:

      • Click Series to view all available packages.

      • Or browse by service category and select the Available Series tab.

    • Choose the desired series (e.g., a pack of 5 services) and click Done.

    • Note: A Series cannot be sold to a #Walkin customer.
  4. Confirm Sale Details:

    • The point-of-sale screen displays the service purchased today, the series package, and a negative balance indicating a redeemed service.

  5. Complete Payment:

    • Process payment for the series (e.g., $120).

    • Select End Sale.

  6. Receipt Information:

    • The receipt includes details about the client’s outstanding series and expiry date.


Booking an Appointment Using a Series

  1. Schedule Appointment:

    • Navigate to the desired date and time.

    • Select the client’s name.

  2. View Series Details:

    • The Client Dashboard displays an Outstanding Client Series section showing:

      • Remaining services.

      • Purchase date.

      • Expiry date.

    • Additional details are accessible under History > History Totals.

  3. Assign Service from Series:

    • On the Service Selection screen, choose the desired service from the series.

    • Alternatively, select the service from the category menu, and it will automatically deduct from the series.

  4. Resource Selection:

    • Assign a resource (e.g., tanning booth) and click Done.

  5. Appointment Confirmation:

    • The appointment is added to the schedule.


Redeeming a Service from the Series

  1. Check Out Appointment:

    • Proceed to checkout as usual.

  2. Zero Payment:

    • The service appears as $0 since it’s already prepaid.

    • Click End Sale to complete the transaction.
