How to Add a New Client to Your Database

Follow these steps to ensure all necessary information is entered correctly.

Step 1: Access the New Client Form

  • Navigate to the main menu and select Clients.
  • Click on New Client to open the client form.

Step 2: Fill in the Client Information

  • Complete the fields, noting that fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  • Depending on regional data protection laws, the opt-in fields may be pre-selected or left unticked.
    • For clients over the age of consent, select the first option to accept the privacy policy.
    • For clients under the age of consent, select the second option and enter the details of the consenting parent or guardian.
  • You have the option to display the privacy policy to clients either on the screen or as a printed document.

Step 3: Complete the Form

  • As you type in the client’s first or last name, any existing entries from your database will appear, allowing you to select the correct client if needed.
  • Once all information is entered, click Done.

Step 4: Review Client Information

  • To view the client’s details, access their Client Card.
    • The information entered will be displayed on the Profile and Information tabs.
    • You’ll see the acceptance of the privacy policy along with the date it was accepted.
    • The last updated date for the client card is also visible.
