This guide provides a step-by-step process to help you efficiently import member data into Shortcuts Marketing Plus

Steps to Import Members

Prepare Your Data Sheet

  • Ensure your client data sheet includes all necessary member details.
  • Save the file in one of the supported formats: CSV, TXT, or TAB.

Log in and Begin Importing

  1. Log in to Certain Forget Marketing.
  2. Navigate to Import Members and click Choose File.
  3. Select the file from your computer and upload it.

Preview and Map Data

  • After uploading, a preview of your data will appear.
  • Map columns by selecting relevant field names from the drop-down list above each column:
    • Some fields may be auto-detected; verify accuracy.
    • For unneeded columns, select Do Not Map to exclude them.
  • Use the scrollbar to navigate across columns.

Save Layout for Future Use

  • If desired, save your column mapping layout for future imports:
    • Enter a name and press Save Layout.
    • Add a demographic tag to target campaigns for this client list.

Finalize and Import

  • Leave the box checked if your data sheet’s first row contains headings to exclude them from the import.
  • Click Import Now to begin the import process:
    • Existing member details in your system will be updated automatically.
    • A popup will confirm when the import is complete.

Using Imported Data for Campaigns

Targeting Imported Members

  1. Navigate to the campaign you want to send.
  2. Open the Demographics tab and press Add Scenario.
  3. Select:
    • Demographic option with your business name.
    • Manual Import List and the tag you assigned during the import.

Verify Recipients

  • Click Check Recipients to view the number of members targeted.
  • Adjust campaign settings as needed.

Test and Activate Campaign

  1. Go to the Status tab and send yourself a test.
  2. Review the test thoroughly to ensure everything is accurate.
  3. Activate the campaign once satisfied.
