Failed to contact License Server 

This error will occur if Shortcuts is trying to open and the License Server is not running on the PC.

To start the License Server: 

  1. Go to the Start menu
  2. In the "Type here to search", type License
  3. Point of Sale LicenseServer application will appear
  4. Right-click and Run As Administrator
  5. Try to reopen Shortcuts now
