Shortcuts Marketing Plus: Creating a "Time to See You Again" Campaign using a Template

This guide walks you through creating a "Time to See You Again" email campaign using a saved "Time to see you again template". By following these steps, you can efficiently remind clients to return to your business.



Step 1: Create a new Campaign

  1. Select Template Choose a design 

  2. Select your pre saved "time to see you again" template or choose one from the shortcuts library

  3. Select use this design.

Step 2: Layout

  1. Subject Heading:
    • Create a client-facing subject line.
    • Use personalization (e.g., client names) to capture attention.
  1. Editing Templates:
    • Use the editor to customize the template. Note that changes here will only apply to this campaign and not update the saved library template.
  2. Save and continue

Step 3: Send Options

  1. Campaign Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name for internal tracking.
  2. Choose the Frequency "Set and Forget" (ongoing)
  3. Promotion based on the Event: Select "Client's Last Visit Date" as the trigger for sending reminders.
    • Choose Trigger is an actual date
    • Set the reminder interval (e.g., 6 weeks after the client’s last visit).
  4. Send Schedule:
    • Define a start and end date for the campaign.
    • Specify the time of day emails will be sent.
    • Enable deduplication to prevent clients from receiving multiple emails.

  5. Save and Continue

Step 4: Demographics

Restrict Audience: Target specific clients to avoid sending reminders to those with existing appointments.

  1. Add a scenario to include only clients without a future appointment:

  2. Choose preferred Demographic > Does the client have a future appointment > no 

  3. Save and Continue


Step 5: Promotions Codes

  • Promotion Codes: Add a promotion code to track campaign ROI if applicable.


Step 6: Testing and Activating the Campaign

  1. Send Test Emails:
    • Send a test email to yourself or other team members.
    • Review subject lines, proofread content, and check all links for functionality.
  2. Confirm Accuracy: Tick the confirmation boxes to ensure everything is correct.
  3. Activate Campaign: Once satisfied, press "Activate." The campaign will begin automatically at the scheduled time.
