Configuring Your My Local Salon Page

Creating an appealing "My Local Salon" page is an excellent way to attract new clients and establish a strong online presence.

Accessing My Local Salon Settings

  1. Log in to Console – Start by logging into your account. https://console.shortcutssoftware.com/

  2. Navigate to Settings – Click on "My Local Salon Settings" on the right-hand side.

  3. Select Site – Choose the site you want to edit and tick the box to activate the listing.

Customizing Your Salon Profile

1. Upload Logo

  • Click Choose File, select your image, and press Upload Image.

2. Business Descriptions

  • Short Description – Add a brief preview of your business for search results.

  • Full Description – Provide an overview of your business for your profile page.

3. Website URL

  • Enter your website address if available.

4. Booking Methods

  • Select the appropriate booking option:

    • Book Me – For appointment-based systems.

    • Self Check-In – For walk-in services.

5. Pricing Band

  • Select a pricing band to help clients filter by price range.

6. Business Hours

  • Confirm that hours copied from your Shortcuts business details are accurate.

7. Service Categories

  • Tick the relevant categories and service types you offer, and specify your price range.

Additional Information

1. Extra Business Details

  • Highlight facilities or features by ticking relevant boxes to display icons on your listing.

2. Payment Methods

  • Tick the payment types accepted by your business.

3. Brands Offered

  • Select up to three main retail and professional brands from drop-down menus.

  • Add additional brands by pressing Add.

Enhancing Visual Appeal with Gallery Images

  1. Go to My Local Salon Gallery.

  2. Press Choose File, select your image, and click Upload Image.

  3. To remove an image, click the red X button.

Copying Settings to Other Sites

  1. Return to My Local Salon Settings.

  2. Click Copy Settings.

  3. Select the source site and specify applications to copy.

  4. Tick the box to copy gallery images if required (overwrites existing images).

  5. Select destination sites and press Copy Settings.

Final Steps

  • Review all information and ensure accuracy.

  • Click Save to apply your changes.
