Configuring Required Services for Online Bookings

Enhancing your online booking system with mandatory service selections ensures clients include essential services when booking. eg When a client selects a hair color service, they must also choose a finishing service, such as a blow dry or a cut and blow dry, to complete the booking

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

  1. Access Shortcuts Cloud:

  2. Navigate to Business settings:

    • Select Online Booking.

  3. Open Related Services Setup:

    • Locate and open the Related Services section.

    • Review any existing related services configurations.

  4. Add a New Related Service:

    • Click New to create a new relationship.

    • Assign a descriptive name (e.g., "Finish Required with Color Service").

    • Mark the relationship as Active and Required.

    • Select Relationship > Require another service or recommend other services

  5. Select Primary Services:

    • Choose the main services that will require a mandatory addition (e.g., hair color services).

    • Use categories or expand lists to select specific services.

  6. Assign Required Services:

    • Specify the services that clients must add (e.g., blow dry or cut and blow dry).

    • Confirm the selection by clicking Done.

  7. Save Configuration:

    • Finalize and save the setup by clicking Save at the bottom of the screen.

Results:
Once configured, clients booking a primary service online will be prompted to select the required additional services before proceeding. This process ensures complete and accurate bookings, enhancing client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
