Configuring Settings for Online Booking

This guide explains how to configure BookMe settings to optimize online booking options for your clients.

Accessing BookMe Settings

  1. Log in to your Smart System console.

  2. Click on the BookMe Settings tile.

  3. Select the site you want to edit.


Key Settings and Customization Options

Site Group Name

  • Purpose: Displayed on the site selection page if you have multiple sites.

  • Action: Enter a group name in the "Site Groups" field.

Booking and Cancellation Rules

  • Earliest Booking Allowed: Set the minimum time before an appointment that a client can book online.

  • Latest Booking Allowed: Define how far in advance clients can make bookings.

  • Latest Cancellation Allowed: Specify the time limit for clients to cancel appointments online.

  • Booking Change Allowed: Set the timeframe for clients to modify existing bookings.

Scheduling Efficiency

  • Minimum Efficiency Percentage: Optimize time slots based on employee booking intervals.

  • Maximum Appointment Options Displayed: Control the number of appointment choices shown to clients.

  • Future Search Days: Define the range of days into the future for appointment availability searches.

Service Order and Category Sequencing

  • Purpose: Ensure services are booked in a specified order.

  • Action: Assign sequence numbers to service categories (e.g., hair coloring before haircuts).

Google Analytics and AdWords Integration

  • Enter your details to track and measure booking performance.


Additional Features

Client Booking Preferences

  • Email Booking Requests: Allow clients to request appointments via email if no slots are available.

  • Display Service Prices: Show prices next to employee names, including variations by employee level.

Credit Card Verification

  • Capture Credit Card Details: Require card details for verification (not stored).

  • Reject Expired Cards: Automatically reject expired cards at the time of booking.

Notifications and Display Options

  • Confirmation Emails: Send automated emails confirming bookings.

  • Display Service Durations: Show estimated times for services.

  • Restrict Bookings to One Employee: Prevent clients from booking multiple employees in one appointment.

  • Allow Appointment Cancellations: Enable clients to cancel bookings online.

  • Tags: Highlight specific services or features using tags.

Content Customization

  • Update site-specific page content to override global content.


Saving and Copying Settings

  • Save Changes: After configuration, click Save.

  • Copy Settings to Another Site:

    1. Click Copy Settings.

    2. Select the source site and applications to copy.

    3. Choose target sites and press Copy Settings.
