Cloud Appointment Book Basics

This guide provides essential steps to help you log into and navigate the Cloud Appointment Book efficiently. With a user-friendly layout, the system allows you to manage appointments across multiple sites, track customer information, and stay organized.

1. Logging into the Cloud Appointment Book

  • Open a web browser on your device (smartphone, tablet, or computer).
  • Go to pos.shortcutsoftware.com and log in with your Shortcuts Console username and password.

Upon logging in, you'll be directed to the Operations Menu.

2. Switching Between Sites

  • If your account includes access to multiple sites, click your name in the top-right corner to switch sites.
  • A menu will display your current site name, with options to:
    • Change your password
    • Log out
    • Switch sites

3. Navigating the Cloud Appointment Book

  • Use the menu on the left to select different screens.

  • The action bar at the bottom of the screen allows you to perform tasks such as adding or searching for customers.

    • To search for a customer, enter at least three characters of their name, phone number, or email.
    • Use the filter icon to refine your search (e.g., include inactive clients or search across all sites).

4. Appointment Book Layout and Features

  • The Cloud Appointment Book is similar to the Shortcuts Appointment Book, with:
    • Individual employee columns
    • Appointment times listed on the left
    • A red line to indicate the current time

You can navigate between different days using the buttons at the bottom or view a full week's appointments with the Week View button. To return to daily view, simply select the Day View button.

5. Tracking Employee Productivity

  • Productivity levels for each employee are displayed next to their image at the top of the screen.

6. Quick Access to Your Appointment Book

  • The Favorites Bar at the top allows you to quickly access the appointment book.

7. Syncing and Updates

  • All updates made to appointments, whether in the Cloud or Shortcuts Appointment Book, are instantly synchronized.
