Appointment Notes and Employee Messages Overview
This guide explains how to create, view, and manage appointment notes and employee messages in your system. These tools help improve communication and streamline day-to-day operations.
Managing Appointment Notes
Appointment notes are a convenient way to track client-specific details, such as schedule changes or reminders.
Adding a Note to an Appointment
- Right-click on the appointment and select Notes.
- Click the Notes column and type your message (e.g., “Client is running 10 minutes late”).
- Press Done to save.
- A yellow Post-it note icon will appear in the top-right corner of the appointment.
- If the appointment has multiple services without individual notes, a faded icon will appear for those.
Viewing a Note
- Right-click the appointment and select Notes to view details.
Deleting a Note
- Open the Notes section, click the note, and press the Delete button.
- To delete all notes for the appointment, click Delete All.
- The post-it note icon will disappear from the appointment once notes are removed.
Managing Employee Messages
Employee messages are a useful way to send internal updates or reminders.
Adding an Employee Message
- Click the Employee icon at the top of the screen.
- Type your message and press Save.
- Close the employee screen by clicking anywhere outside it.
- A blue notification icon will appear at the top right corner of the employee's column, indicating a new message.
Viewing a Message
- Click the Employee icon to view the message.
Deleting a Message
- Highlight the message, press Backspace, and then click Save.
- Close the screen to see that the blue notification icon has disappeared.
