Delete multiple shifts (by copying empty rosters)
The easiest way to delete multiple shifts is to copy a roster from a date that has no roster assigned. Copy this empty roster to all dates you want to delete the roster.
- Select the “Roster actions” button on the bottom right of the screen.
- Select “Copy roster” to replicate empty shifts across different date ranges and for different employees.
- Select an employee/s with an empty roster on at least one day.
- Select the “Copy start date”: Choose the date with the empty roster.
- Select the “Copy end date”: Choose the date with the empty roster.
- Select the “Copy until date”: The date you want the empty roster to be copied up to.
-
- e.g. Copy existing empty roster from 1 - 7 Jan until 30 Jan. This will mean the roster will be populated with empty shifts from 8 - 30 Jan for the specific employees.
- Note: The empty roster will begin the first day after the ‘copy end date.’ It will not skip over closed days etc. We recommend selecting a full roster/cycle to copy e.g. 7 days Mon - Sun, incl. closed days to ensure days remain aligned (e.g. previous empty Tuesday copies to next Tuesday).
- Scroll down to confirm that the roster entries have been removed.
