- From the menu select Products.
- Here’s what you need to have set up before creating an individual product:
- A brand category: e.g L’Oreal
- A line category: Elvive (14)
- Supplier: This can be added when creating the individual product.
How do they fit together?
- A brand includes one or more Product Lines.
- A product line contains one or more individual products.
- A supplier is associated to each product.
Add a Brand
- From the Products screen, you can see all existing product Brands.
- Select the “New brand” icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Enter the brand name and make sure the Status is "Active".
- Select the "Done" icon in the bottom right corner to save your changes.
Add a Product Line
- From the Products screen, select the Brand you want to add a Line to (e.g. if adding a product line to L’Oreal, choose L’Oreal).
- Here you can see all existing Product lines associated with that Brand.
- Select the “New line” icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Enter the line name, the default product usage and make sure the Status is "Active".
- Select the "Done" icon in the bottom right corner to save your changes.
Add a Product
- Select the Product Line you want to add a Product to (e.g. Add a product to the Mythic Oil line sold by L’Oreal).
- Here you can see all existing products associated with that Product line.
- Select the “New product” icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Set the Status of the product to "Active".
- Enter the product name, pricing details and tax type
- Note: the Brand and Line will automatically associated with the product.
- Link the product to a Supplier by selecting the small plus icon.
- If you need to set up a new Supplier, you can do so by selecting the “New product” icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Select the "Done" icon in the bottom right corner to save your changes.
Review your product catalogue
- View your existing Brands, Product Lines and Products by clicking on the name of each one
- Edit your product catalogue clicking on the pencil icon for the Brand, Product line or Product you want to edit.
